Woodo is a cozy diorama puzzle game where you assemble wooden scenes. The game follows the story of Foxy and Ben, told through interconnected dioramas. As you place objects in their correct spots, the scenes slowly come to life and fill with colour. Each piece clicks in with a tactile sensation. You have to turn and explore the 3D spaces to reveal hidden pieces.
Here are Woodo’s key features, via Daedalic Entertainment:
- Assemble beautiful dioramas piece by piece with a unique puzzle mechanic.
- The game adapts to your pace, providing assistance when you need it.
- Gameplay changes to adapt the narration.
- Simple but deeply meaningful story.
- The comforting voice of the narrator keeps you company.
- Get carried away by nostalgic feelings of when things were simple.
- Plenty of funny characters and silly animations make you smile.
There will be two versions of Woodo available: the standard edition and the Endless Summer Edition. Endless Summer Edition pre-orders will be the same price as the standard edition, and include the base game, the original soundtrack, ready-to-print 3D models of Foxy and Ben, 2D print templates for a poster of the in-game village map plus a set of stickers, two extra colours for the in-game cursor-hand (Foxy Orange and Ben Green), and a sticker on the in-game map.
Developed by Tiny Monk Tales and published by Daedalic Entertainment, Woodo will be released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Switch, and Xbox Series on September 16.
