Wolverine ain’t no hero in this trailer
Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment have released a new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, titled “Ain’t No Hero.” While Logan knows the world needs a hero, he also understands that all they will get is Wolverine. He searches for answers about his past through whatever means necessary, including brutal claw combat, violent rage and relentless determination. The game is due out for PlayStation in September.
Here are the game’s key features, via Sony Interactive Entertainment:
- The Ultimate Wolverine Fantasy – Marvel’s Wolverine is built on Insomniac Games staples like fast, fluid, and ferocious combat; exhilarating, action-packed set pieces; robust accessibility features; and a gripping story that taps into the core tenets of one of the most compelling comic book characters of all time. The game will explore Logan’s signature spin on heroism—which is much darker and more brutal than you might expect from Insomniac.
- Iconic Characters – Independence is often the way of Wolverine, although he’ll encounter familiar faces on his journey, like the elusive Mystique and the brutish Omega Red. Some will fight alongside Logan against all odds, while others will unleash all-out attacks, such as the Reavers, an enemy faction that will keep our hero’s instincts on edge.
- A Globe-Spanning Thriller – In this original story, Wolverine is on the hunt to uncover the secrets of a dark past that keeps eluding him. His search for answers will send him on perilous excursions to exotic locales, including the island nation of Madripoor, the frosted wilderness of Canada and the narrow city streets of Tokyo—all potential battlegrounds for fierce, bloody, destructive action.
Developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel’s Wolverine will be released for PlayStation 5 on September 15.
Party game Prinny Party: Going Overboard! announced
Nippon Ichi Software and Western publisher NIS America have announced Prinny Party: Going Overboard! for PC, PlayStation, and Switch. The four-player party game is set to launch in Japan on November 12, while NIS America is yet to announce a Western launch date. While NISA is yet to share details about the Western launch, the Japanese launch for PC and Switch will be digital, while PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 versions will be both digital and physical.

In Prinny Party: Going Overboard!, a 4-player party game, you and your friends will do whatever it takes to defeat the Supreme Overboard and his Protago-Knights! In practice, it’s quite simple: move around the board, earn experience, acquire more powerful equipment, and turn in quests to stay ahead of the curve. Then, when a boss spawns, work together to take him down!
But friendships don’t last long in Prinny Party. Only the player who brings the boss back to spawn gets the credit, so do whatever it takes to be the hero!
Throw, fight, and squabble your way to victory! Whatever you do, just don’t die all at once, or it’ll be game over—for everyone!

Capy Castaway launches next month
Capy Castaway, described as “Spirited Away meets Untitled Goose Game,” is a charming narrative-driven adventure. Follow a capybara pup and its crow companion; they’ve washed ashore on an unfamiliar island after their zoo enclosure flooded and are attempting to find their way home. It’s not that simple, though, as the flood brought in more than just Capy, threatening the balance between the natural and spiritual worlds.
Capy and the crow work together to solve puzzles and help others. Capy is an impressionable, curious, and friendly capybara who explores by digging, pushing, and sniffing out secrets. Crow is a resourceful loud-mouth who can grab far-away objects and carry Capy short distances.
Developed by Kitten Cup Studio and published by Big Blue Sky Games, Capy Castaway will be released for PC via Steam on August 6.
Satirical life sim Dystopicon launches next week
Dystopian time management life sim game Dystopicon places you in the role of someone who gets a salary for watching TV; they can then buy services to survive after robots replace humans at work. You can choose to be a good citizen or a rebel, but regardless, curiosity has a price. Progress through different scenarios and uncover more about how the world works. The game, which includes 14 possible endings, is set to launch for PC next week.
Here are the game’s key features, via Palitroque
- 6 Different Scenarios: Start the story mode as a Second-Class Citizen, living in a room provided by the government. Progress until you become a Party Citizen or end up in the re-education camp, across 5 different scenarios and an additional secret one. Each scenario reveals new information about this dystopian world and forces the player to rethink their strategy by introducing new mechanics and situations. Will you be able to discover what lies beyond the four walls of your home?
- Challenge Mode: Your objective is to save enough money to leave that room. Do you dare to try? No daily news, no distractions—just you against yourself.
- 14 Possible Endings: You may survive however you choose. Remain an obedient citizen or rebel, but keep in mind that your actions will have consequences. Become a state bureaucrat or get involved in a terrorist attack. Follow the instructions to the letter or hack the system to deceive it. Anything can happen—who knows? You might even win the lottery… [insert canned Laughter]
