Resonance Interactive has announced that its upcoming game BloomKeeper will be released mid-September. In the real-time tactical adventure game, you take on the role of the Guardian and lead a colony of vulnerable creatures—the Pouics—across a devastated island. Life returns beneath their steps, and you must protect the colony from treacherous terrain, spreading corruption, and the constant threat of the ashes.
BloomKeeper blends exploration, managing the Pouics, and real-time tactical play. Every route you take and every area you restore shape your journey. Play alone or with up to four players.
The Pouics have awakened specifically to make the burnt island of Hedera bloom once again. But they are small and naive, so you must be the one to guide them. Every step forward revives the landscape, but the dangers remain outside of these areas, as scorched zones continue to spread.
The world in BloomKeeper is not static: scorched zones spread and pressure increases as you get closer to the heart of the corruption. With every region, there is one decision: push ahead with a large colony and risk losing control or secure the land step by step. The game’s heart is the constant tension between momentum and protection.
If a Pouic becomes corrupted, they give rise to dangerous beings that intensify the threat by spreading scorched zones. The more the world decays, the more difficult the journey you face.
Here are the game’s key features, from Resonance Interactive:
- A real-time tactical adventure set in a world devastated by ash and corruption
- Solo play and co-op for up to 4 players
- Colony guidance centred around protecting and managing the fragile Pouics
- Dynamic scorched zones that spread and intensify throughout each run
- Environmental traversal and terrain-based tactical decision-making
- Corruption mechanics that transform lost Pouics into dangerous Malpouics
Developed and published by Resonance Interactive, BloomKeeper will be released for PC via Steam on September 16.
