  • First released in 1997, Final Fantasy VII follows the story of Cloud Strife, an ex-SOLDIER operative turned mercenary, who has set off on an epic adventure. Joining the resistance group Avalanche to fight against Shinra Electric Power Company, a sinister corporation monopolizing the world’s energy force, Cloud’s actions determine the fate of the planet.
  • First released in 1999, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered gives players a chance to experience this classic title where players take control of SeeD recruit Squall Leonhart and resistance fighter Rinoa Heartilly to save the world from the military nation of Galbadia. The remaster breathes life into the game’s original characters and story with newer rendered visuals and boosts to enhance the experience.
  • Final Fantasy IX tells the story of the bandit Zidane Tribal, who plans to kidnap the princess of Alexandria, Garnet Til Alexandros the 17th, with the troupe of thieves known as Tantalus. An unlikely series of events set Zidane, Garnet, the black mage Vivi Ornitier, the loyal knight Adelbert Steiner, and other memorable characters on an epic journey to discover the secrets of the Crystal, and confront a malevolent force that threatens to destroy their world.
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is an enhanced and expanded version of the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake, which reimagines Final Fantasy VII, blending cutting-edge technology with a fresh perspective to deliver a cinematic and emotionally resonant experience. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade comes bundled with FF7R episode intermission, an exhilarating story arc bringing Wutai ninja Yuffie Kisaragi to the forefront.
  • Final Fantasy VII Rebirth continues the saga of Final Fantasy VII Remake as a standalone adventure set across a vast and vibrant planet. The game sees Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith and Red XIII escape from the dystopian city of Midgar to hunt down Sephiroth, a haunting figure from Cloud’s past bent on ruling the planet.

The Final Fantasy VII (Original) + Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Twin Pack and Final Fantasy IX will be released for Nintendo Switch on December 9, while the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade & Rebirth Twin Pack will be released for PlayStation 5 on December 4. All games are physical editions and developed /published by Square Enix.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
