Capcom covered many games in its TGS2025 presentation today, including the action game Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The developer/publisher also revealed a new gameplay trailer for PRAGMATA. In addition to showcasing the locales and combat, it features the game’s expanded strategic options with new weapons, upgrades, and more. PRAGMATA is scheduled to launch for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox sometime next year.
The trailer puts heavy emphasis on the Shelter, a refuge where players can unlock and upgrade weapons and Hack Nodes. Two new items are the Charge Piercer and the Decoy Generator, both offering unique ways for Hugh to overcome rampaging bots. A new type of Hack Node is Multi-Hack, which allows Diana to open up multiple enemies’ armour with a single hack. It is a consumable item that can instantly turn the tide of battle. Combine various weapons and Hack Nodes to defeat powerful enemies. While not in combat, Hugh and Diane can explore the lunar station. There is a Tram from the shelter to any unlocked Escape Hatches, which also double as checkpoints.
Here is a description of PRAGMATA, via Capcom:
Set in a vision of the near future, PRAGMATA transports players to the moon. After a chance meeting aboard a seemingly lifeless lunar research station, spacefarer Hugh and android Diana find themselves caught in the crosshairs of a hostile AI in control of the station. Stranded and surrounded by enemies, only together can they hope to survive.
As Hugh finds himself needing to work with Diana to return to Earth, they must each rely on their own strengths and abilities to overcome the many obstacles in their path. In a twist, players will control both characters – at the same time – in this single-player adventure. At the heart of the action is Hacking, which enriches combat with a sense of strategy and excitement unique to PRAGMATA.
Developed and published by Capcom, PRAGMATA will be released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series in 2026.
