Hello Kitty Island Adventure is phenomenal, but there’s one thing missing: action! Chase, dash, and dress up your favourite Sanrio characters in Hello Kitty and Friends: Freeze Tag Party, announced digitally and physically for Nintendo Switch; it is scheduled to launch this November. The magical action game places Sanrio characters against each other in whimsical games of tag. The physical edition is already available for pre-order via major retailers.

First, players choose whether to play as a Challenger (runner) or a Hunter (chaser). Then, play adorable games of tag powered by each character’s unique magical skills! As the game progresses, more characters are unlocked. You can play solo or with friends.

The game’s key features, from publisher Nighthawk Interactive, include:

  • 35 Playable Sanrio Characters – From Hello Kitty to Cinnamoroll, Kuromi to Pompompurin, each character has unique abilities, animations, and cuteness overload.
  • Magical Tag Battles – 6 Challengers must evade 2 Hunters until the clock runs out… or risk being frozen! Matches are fast-paced, fun, and full of surprises.
  • 70+ Missions in Solo Mode – Tackle 35 unique missions for each side – Challenger and Hunter – earning trophies based on your performance and unlocking even more in-game goodies.
  • Unique Magical Skills – Skills evolve as characters level up. Whether you’re escaping, chasing, or helping your teammates, every match brings fresh strategy and excitement.
