The 24 games of Christmas! Day #1: Jackbox Party Pack 10

The countdown begins!

2 mins read

It’s that time of year again! We’re counting down the days to Christmas with our own little “advent calendar” – one new game to play over the holiday season each and every day.

As the year winds down, things get really busy. We’ve got Christmas parties to attend, the end of year rush on work, and all the rest of it. But it’s also a time where we take holidays, find a moment to relax, and enjoy the company of others. This is the best chance to catch up on some key games that you might have missed from the year… or just play that multiplayer game that you’ve been waiting to get a crew together for.

Day 1: Jackbox Party Pack 10

Read our review here.

The Jackbox games are an institution that have been around for decades at this point, and they never seem to get old. They combine trivia or other simple “gameshow” style games with comedy, resulting in a reliably good time that everyone that plays will walk away from with a smile. Because the Jackbox games support large groups of players they are the ideal game to bust out for a large party or gathering, and because things only get better with beers and/or eggnog, they’re also the perfect thing for Christmas gatherings in particular.

Is this year’s Jackbox Party Pack the best of them all? Probably not. But it does have a bunch of new games to play, and they’re all good, goofy, reliably good fun. The relative quality of these things from one to the next is not really relevant. You download this, you’re going to get some good playtime out of it.
