There is a lot of very good video game music out there. Some of it rivals the greatest orchestral compositions of all time. At other times, the music is perfect for the game, but not something that we would necessarily want to listen to outside of the context of playing a game.

That’s the subject for this discussion! We talk about the soundtracks we love and would pay good money to watch a symphony perform, and those soundtracks that we love… but in the context of playing a game.
