Ever played a game that is so perfectly nostalgic that within seconds it has you drawing the direct, 1:1 comparison to the original? Remakes always stay true to the original – that’s kind of the point to them – but buried under a new aesthetic, Pokémon Shining Pearl is even more true to the base game as we’re used to in remakes.

And so in this video we give you a direct comparison of the two games, because believe me, if you are like me and had replayed Pearl to the point that it became muscle memory, you’re going to have that experience with this remake.
