Steins;Gate 0 released on Steam earlier this year. As the sequel to one of the all-time essential visual novels, you couldn’t ask for better Christmas reading. Provided you’ve experienced the first game (play that one instead if you haven’t), it’s a worthy continuation of the clever time travel mechanics and the unforgettable characters. Arguably darker in tone than the original, it poses further philosophical quandaries that will give you something to stew over.
