Merry Christmas from the DDNet team!

It’s Christmas day here in Australia, so we’d love to take this opportunity to wish all of our wonderful readers the very best Christmas.

It’s been a big year! For the DDNet website, it’s been another year of continuous growth and exciting opportunities. We had our best outing to TGS yet, got to interview Yoko Taro – the hero none of us in this industry deserve – and publish more news, opinion, and reviews than we ever have. We are now close to 10,000 published articles, and that would never have happened if there weren’t people to read them.

We’ve also grown in community. There’s over 50,000 followers on Facebook now, which makes us (I believe), the most “liked” Australian games publication. Our traffic definately means that as far as Japanese game specialists go, we’re #1 in this country. Sure, it might be a niche subject, but we love what we do, and we love that it has an audience.

So, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has participated at DDNet, either by reading our articles, leaving us comments, tuning in to our podcast, or subscribing to us on YouTube (something that you can expect to see massively expanded on in 2019). You’re all the best, we love you. Have an awesome break, spend time with family and friends, play awesome games, and we will see you all in the New Year!
