The music episode! Our favourite soundtracks, Final Fantasy concerts, and more! (Digitally Uploaded 2017, Episode #24)

We have a special episode of the Digitally Uploaded podcast this week; we’re talking all about all things music!

Music is often the unappreciated part of a game, but without amazing soundtracks, our favourite video games would just not have the same emotional resonance and power. In celebration of that, this week we talk about what we like in our video game soundtracks, whether we’d go to a symphony for game music (and what we think about the ones that we have been to), and we play the old “if you were stranded on an island with just three game soundtracks to listen to, what would you have with you” game.

We’ve also picked personal favourite songs to play through the show! If you like any of them yourself, here’s the playlist:

Cinco De Chocobo – Final Fantasy VII
Theme from Yoshi’s Story
Theme from Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Sera Was Never: Dragon Age Inquisition

You can catch us on our social media too, of course:

Thanks as always for listening, and see you next week!
