Those who love The Walking Dead are never without new content for long: between toys, games, books, and television, there is always something fresh and exciting to enjoy. Continuing with their momentum from two five-episode (and very successful) seasons of The Walking Dead game, Telltale is now set to launch a mini-series to bridge the gap between comic issues 126 and 139.

The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries (I know, that’s a mouthful) will debut later this month. It features the voice talent of Samira Wiley, best known for her incredible performance as Poussey on Orange Is The New Black, as Michonne. In the first episode of the miniseries, Michonne joins Pete and his crew on a ship (The Companion) to search the coast for survivors and supplies. A signal for help brings the crew to the scene of a horrific massacre, and from there they are led to a survivor’s colony that may contain the very person responsible for the massacre.

The first episode, titled In Too Deep, will follow the usual Telltale pattern of coming to consoles first and mobile a few days later. Players using PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, or Xbox One can get the first episode digitally beginning February 23. Android, iOS, and Amazon mobile users will have access beginning February 25. The second episode, Give No Shelter, will be released in March. The third episode, What We Deserve, will conclude the series in April.
