Social gaming meets Major League Baseball in Konami’s newest.

Facebook is now playing host to a fully licensed, online hardball sim from Konami. It sounds a little off when you first hear it, but the game actually sounds like it might be a nice little diversion between sessions of stalking looking up old friends.

Basically, you collect player profiles (which are all actual players with all the team branding you’d expect), build teams, and go head-to-head against other players- all just in time for the playoffs.

KONAMI delivers the excitement of real life Major League BaseballĀ® with MLB Dream Nine. The all-new Facebook title lets users collect and upgrade their favorite baseball players to build their very own dream teams, then go head-to-head against online rivals, interacting with existing MLB team and MLB players.
