How do you like your racing? Realistic? Cartoony? …Kart?

Digital Reality is hoping that you might fit somewhere in the middle of all that as their newest offering for all the major download platforms (sorry Nintendo) Big Bang Racing looks like it straddles the line.

I seem to remember a racer …somewhere… in the past… (NES maybe?) that featured a similar style to BBR. It’s a really cool look that’s kind of realistic, kind of super-deformed. In any event, the game is looking pretty sharp with a slot car/RC look that’s pretty unique these days.

Features according to the press release:

  • N-Dura Class: With strong grip, good control and moderate speed, this intro class will bring you up to speed and deliver your first taste of nitro boosting!
  • Evo GT: Faster, greater drift around corners, insane acceleration with even more nitro – mastering these beasts is a bit of challenge.
  • Protech: You’re going to need some wicked moves to conquer these racing machines – don’t forget to use those brakes either, as these babies can move!
  • Apex: Hope you’re ready for the major leagues as these are the fastest cars on the planet – highly agile but also fragile, requiring the tightest control imaginable.
No release date or pricing yet race fans- but we’ll keep you updated.
