Oceanhorn sailing to iOS, bringing an air of familiarity

The developers at indie studio Cornfox & Brothers are working away on perhaps one of the most attractive iOS games yet: Oceanhorn: Monster of the Uncharted Seas.
The game revolves around a nameless hero on a quest to rescue his sister. Much of your time is spent sailing the uncharted waters of the ocean and solving puzzles. Using your trusty sword, you’ll occasionally square off against fantastical foes, such as armed anthropomorphic beasts. Is this starting to sound a bit nostalgic? Perhaps a screenshot of the game will jog your memory.
If you haven’t guessed by now…
Specific pricing and the date of release were not announced with the game’s unveiling, but Cornfox assures us that development is going smoothly. You can expect to play Oceanhorn sometime in early 2012.

  • Sounds great although it does have a rather close resemblance to Zelda. It doesn't matter anyway – as long as there are enough puzzles to figure out and keep me occupied, I probably would enjoy this very much.
