Sony makes portable gaming that little bit easier with USB charger

Most of us with PSPs (and especially PSPGos) know the story: halfway through the train or plane trip, the console battery dies. Boredom ensures. But Sony is fixing that, with a device that’s going to cost just $Aus40.

Due for release in early November, the USB charger doesn’t just work with PSPs, naturally. It works with any device that can be charged through USB, such as cameras, music players, camcorders and smart phones. The device itself can also be recharged via USB.

It’s due early November… just in time for importing the PlayStation Vita from Japan.
