Animania 2010 photo collection

Last weekend, the Sydney Technology Park at Redfern exploded with colourful costumes as cosplayers and anime, manga and gaming fans arrived for the 2010 Animania festival.

Much fun was had by all thanks in great part to the vibe of positive energy and friendly people. But by far the highlight was the cosplayers – and there were many of them in attendance. Everywhere you’d look you’d see a mixture of weird and wonderful costumes, and some were very, very well made indeed.

…and then gave lessons on how to do it yourself!

It wasn’t just about the cosplay though. Mario Kart and DDR were both serious business.
