Batman Gotham City Imposters Comes Clean

I never thought I'd see the day that there was a Batman themed FPS but here it is. Gotham City Impostors puts players in the shoes of gang members from The Bats of The Jokerz.





The game is set during a time of heavy unrest and gang activity in Gotham City and will offer a massive amount of customization options for player-characters.

Gotham City Impostors is a multiplayer game unlike any other, giving players the opportunity to rebel against conformity as they customise their own characters.  Posing as amateur vigilantes or villains, gamers will create their very own Bats and Jokerz characters using unprecedented customisation options including insane costumes, homebrewed gadgets and a wide range of traditional and imagined weapons.

So it's an all out gang battle on the streets of Batman's hometown. There's no word yet on whether or not the Dark Knight himself will be making a cameo in the game or if he'll be laying the smack down on the wannabe's a'la the opening of the Dark Knight film yet, but one can hope.

While we're at it, there's not a release date or price yet either, but figure around 1200pts and late summer/early fall. Oh, and Gotham City Impostors will also be making appearances on the PC and PS3- but there's no details on those yet either.
