Eastasiasoft has announced that it will launch a physical “uncut” edition for Tokyo Clanpool early this year. Having physical releases for PC games doesn’t make sense a lot of the time, but this time, it at least includes the game on a branded USB drive instead of just a download code. Pre-orders begin on January 22 on the eastasiasoft store and its partners, including Playasia. International shipping options will be available.
This release of Tokyo Clanpool restores all the original content from the Japanese version of the game. It includes localizations in English and Traditional Chinese text. As a bonus, anyone who owns the digital GOG release of Tokyo Clanpool will be able to download an off-site patch (download from eastasiasoft) to restore content that required removal from previous versions of the game.
Tokyo Clanpool is set in Japan in the near future. The government has collapsed after a mighty tower mysteriously appeared, extending from Reverse City in the Sky and connecting it with the National Diet Building. Monsters now roam Japan, threatening its people, and the newly inaugurated Prime Minister Natsume Kannuki must lead her Diet Dolls into battle against them.
In this dungeon RPG, players take their party of heroines deeper and deeper into the tower in an attempt to neutralize the threat and learn its origin. Navigate through the maze-like corridors in first-person perspective. Digiskins are used to customize character abilities and skills. The turn-based combat is fast and strategic.
It can’t be that simple, though: players also have to watch out for their citizens’ approval ratings. If your actions are favourable, earn valuable bonuses. If the rating falls too low, your entire cabinet could resign.

In addition to the USB drive, this physical edition includes a soundtrack CD, an art book, a poster, sticker sheets, acrylic character standees, and a numbered certificate, all contained in a collector’s box.
Eastasiasoft has also confirmed the cancellation of the game’s Nintendo Switch edition in North America and Europe, so the Uncut Edition for PC is the definitive physical option for collectors. It is limited to 1,000 units.
Developed by Compile Heart/Idea Factory and, for this edition, published by eastasiasoft, Tokyo Clanpool’s Uncut Edition will be released for PC early in 2026.
