Today, a September launch date was revealed alongside information about the game that features five routes, each with distinct narratives and gameplay tied to different suspects. The game is set in a world steeped in despair and chaos. Humanity is approaching its end. A strange religious group, the Shuten Order, yearns for the end of humanity. It quickly gains followers, forming the small nation state of Shuten. As the protagonist, you have four days to identify your own murderer… after the fact.

Tragedy strikes during the grand festival celebrating their nation’s founding—the leader of the Shuten Order is murdered. Soon after, the protagonist awakens with no memory, greeted by two self-proclaimed “angels”. They reveal a shocking truth: the protagonist is the murdered Founder, revived by divine power. However, the resurrection is incomplete—their memories are gone, and their life limited to a mere four days.
To survive, the protagonist must overcome “God’s trial”: identify and kill their murderer.
With the clock ticking, the protagonist, given the alias Rei, dives into the tumultuous city as a detective. The suspects? Five ministers of the Shuten Order. There’s no time to investigate them all. Choices must be made, and the pursuit of truth demands sacrifice.
Who killed the Founder? For what reason? Can the mission be fulfilled before time runs out?
Thus begins a high-stakes, four-day hunt for the truth.
Players unlock the final chapter of the game after completing the five routes, each with its own ministry.
- Ministry of Security (stealth action horror): Flee from legendary killer Nephilim and investigate Manji Fushicho. Solve various puzzles contained within 3D stages, viewed from a top-down perspective.
- Ministry of Justice (mystery adventure): Solve a murder involving the wealthy Kukuri family, exposing the true killer who is linked to suspect Kishiru Inugami. As a detective, interview key figures and examine crime scenes. Visual novel-style segments allow you to closely analyze statements and objects while you piece together evidence during case analysis meetings.
- Ministry of Science (multi-perspective visual novel): Shift between characters and navigate a terrorist attack at a research lab with suspect Teko Ion in mind. One person’s actions can impact another’s fate.
- Ministry of Education (romance adventure: You’ve been poisoned, so head to Shuten Academy to unmask three girls, one of whom is the suspected poisoner. Build deep relationships with the three heroines, using clues to track their locations and find them for interactions. Correct dialogue choices raise their affection, while romance events are the key to unlocking the nighttime confession phase, where you choose the right words within a time limit to win the girl over.
- Ministry of Health (extreme escape adventure): Survive a death game created by someone unknown while interrogating suspect Yugen Ushitora. The escape room style of gameplay has you completing trials and puzzles. The right decisions bring you closer to freedom. The wrong ones, however, bring you closer to death.
