The upcoming Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle is very, very good. I hadn’t touched Shadowverse, as I refuse to play CCGs on mobile on principle, but here we have a premium take, designed for consoles, and *that* I will play.
On my first impressions, I absolutely love this game, and a big part of the reason is that it calls back to a Game Boy Color title, of all things. This is how I wish more video game CCGs were.
