Project DT, a new title in the early stages of development by Chinese outfit, Digital Sky, is looking really, really good. It’s a sci0-fi action game with mecha fighting, and while it’s a while away (and the studio is still actively recruiting staff to work on it), it’s showing a lot of promise.

The game runs on Unreal Engine 4, and the studio has solid heritage – it produced Dragon Ball Z and Tokyo Ghoul for Bandai Namco on mobile, as well as a series of otome games. All of that was on mobile, however, so with Project DT it looks like Digital Sky is ready and keen to elevate its business.

Every time we see what’s coming out of China at the moment, we’re deeply impressed. Chinese game development is where all the exciting things seem to be happening right now.
