I never thought we’d get a new Bravely Default game. I had just assumed that Square Enix was done with the mini-series after the 3DS titles, when those games were very much built as 3DS titles. And yet, here we are, playing a new Bravely Default game on our Nintendo Switches.

It’s excellent, too, with the developers having done a magnificent job of taking all the qualities of those 3DS titles, and making them work in HD.

Check out our (spoiler-free) preview here, and look forward to the full review. This is a game you’re going to want to keep a close eye on.
