Video by Matt S.

2K Games has a new golf game just out, and it’s really enjoyable (check back at DDNet for the review later today). One thing I have noticed about golf games, however, is that the good ones tend to age really, really well. For example, there’s a Game Boy golf game that I still find incredibly playable and authentic to this day, and that doesn’t happen for other sports games.

So in this video I discuss why golf games age well, and what implications that has for whether golf can become an annual property for 2K. Let me know your own thoughts in the comments!
