Utawarerumono is one of the most underappreciated properties out there. A gorgeous blend of Ainu (native Japanese) aesthetics and JRPG sensibilities, it’s a series that everyone should play if they like their games to be distinct and original.

Utawarerumono Zan is the first spin-off for the series, and it’s a really good-un, as a Musou-like action RPG, featuring your favourite characters from the series to date.

You’ll need to be an existing fan of Utawarerumono to get much out of Zan, but if you are, this very different look at the action is sure to please.
