Catherine is a brilliant game that offers a deep look at relationships, instability, sexuality and temptation. We all know that. But it’s also a game that is loaded with Christian imagery and themes, and coming from a Japanese studio, that in itself is fascinating.

In this video I take a look at Catherine’s religious imagery and themes, and discuss some of the implications they have for the broader game and its narrative.
