Video by Matt S.

One of the “lost” classics in FromSoftware’s long history, Metal Wolf Chaos was only ever released in Japan, and on the Xbox – a console no one wanted in that country. That made it almost impossible for anyone to play.

Now, courtesy of Devolver Digital, we’re able to experience that game, which has grown to become a cult classic. In this video I look at Metal Wolf Chaos XD, and what makes it a truly brilliant example of both the B-grade aesthetic, and as a satire.
