News by Matt S.

NISA, the maverick publisher that never seems to take a break, has announced that it is bringing the gorgeous-looking Langrisser I & II remaster to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Complete with HD art, newly orchestrated music, and innumerable improvements to how both titles play, this collection of two classics hearkens back to the very earliest era of the tactics JRPG genre. The series never quite enjoyed the trajectory and popularity of Nintendo’s Fire Emblem series, but as its nearest competition, it has had its own cult following for many years now.

There’s no firm release date just yet, but NISA has confirmed that its coming in 2020… a year that is already shaping up to be one hell of a good one indeed.
