It was a little lost among all the excitement of E3, but just before the show Viz Media announced a cute little game, so we figured we should cover it now. Cat Lady is being developed by Rose City Games, and looks like an ideal follow-up to the publisher’s first project, The World Next Door.
From the press release: It’s a Feline Flinging Frenzy! Ally Marie arrives at Grandma’s mansion only to find an ancient evil has taken hold. It will be up to her and Grandma’s cats to set things right!
“CAT LADY is a delightful game with a fun story that blends whimsy, talking cats and spooky action to make for plenty of paw-some gameplay,” Will Lewis, Rose City Games Co-Founder and Cat Lady director, said.

We don’t actually know much about the game beyond that – for some reason the press release was more focused on The World Next Door, and the trailer is a teaser in the truest sense. But the art aesthetic is nice, and the premise is charming and amusing, so this is one that we’ll keep a close eye on going forwards.
