It’s that time of year again! The Christmas countdown is a tradition at Digitally Downloaded. Like the advent calendars filled with a chocolate each day, with our Christmas countdown we highlight a game each day that is perfect to help you get through the silly season.
Christmas is a time for family and friends, so it’s a good time of year to bust out the multiplayer games. It’s typically a time that people get some holidays, so it’s a good time to knock off some of those RPGs from the backlog.

More than anything else, it’s a good time for gaming. So grab a game or two from our little list and have yourself a Merry Christmas!

 The 24 Games Of Christmas
The value of Rare Replay speaks for itself. Heck, the number of games on offer in this single budget-friendly compilation dwarfs the entire Games of Christmas concept we’ve set up on the site. Hopefully you’ll forgive us for not calling it “The 53 games of Christmas”.

Not every game in the package will be remembered as the pinnacle of its genre, certainly, as it chronicles the highs and lows of a truly prolific developer. Nonetheless, Rare Replay offers a special kind of magic to everyone that plays it. Solo players can warm up with the Banjo-Kazooie trilogy, college friends can fire up Perfect Dark for a multiplayer nostalgia fix, and the younger generation can spend the extra time afforded by Christmas break on a video game history lesson.

This is the bio under which all legacy DigitallyDownloaded.net articles are published (as in the 12,000-odd, before we moved to the new Website and platform). This is not a member of the DDNet Team. Please see the article's text for byline attribution.
