Life Is Strange: Episode 5 has a tentative release date

I don’t know whether to jump and cheer or curl up in the fetal position and cry. To celebrate protagonist Max’s birthday, Square Enix decided to break their usual pattern. In the past, they have announced episode release dates only when they are beyond certain that is the date (usually within a two-week window). For the final episode of the series, titled Polarized, they are announcing a tentative date nearly a month away.

October 20, 2015. That is the date I expect Dontnod and Square Enix to break my heart into a trillion pieces. And it will never be quite whole again. To be fair, they’ve done that will nearly every episode conclusion to date. I’m pretty sure Max is my spirit animal.

For your viewing pleasure until then, check out our review of Episode 1, as well as thoughts on Episode 2, Episode 3, and Episode 4.
