Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water available only via eShop (in America), free-to-start

Nintendo has released a few more details regarding the latest instalment in its Fatal Frame franchise, Maiden of the Black Water.

The horror game will be available exclusively via Nintendo’s eShop when it launches in America. Europeans and Australians can look forward to a physical copy as well. Nintendo has also revealed that the game will be free-to-start, so players can go through the prologue and first chapter for free before deciding the purchase the rest of the game.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water was released on the Wii U in Japan on September 27, 2014, where it scored a total of 33/40 in popular games magazine, Famitsu. It will be released in North America on October 22.
