Recently we had the good news that NISA is bringing Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection out west. This idol game, from the masters of the genre, gives players the opportunity to manage the singing, dancing career of the weird and wonderful inhabitants of gameindustri as they compete to form the ultimate idol group.
It’s not a JRPG, in other words. It’s almost certainly going to be a very funny bit of fan service, however. The trailer below will give you an idea of what to expect.
The trailer also reminds me that I hope NISA has left the Japanese voice actors in as an option. I’ve never been able to stand Neptune’s American accent.
