If you've had the good fortune to play Rainbow Moon, then you'd know the definition of a 'hardcore' RPG. It was literally hundreds of hours of grinding, looting and levelling up.
Now, we're rather big fans of that kind of game (read our review here), so you can imagine our excitement that publisher, eastasiasoft, as well as developer, SideQuest Studios, has formally announced a sequel, with a website to match.
There's not much info on the Rainbow Skies website right now, but frankly this sentence is enough to sell us on the game:
"It will offer an even deeper and more versatile gameplay experience [to Rainbow Moon]"
Sold.

OH HECK THE FLIPPING YES!!!
Sorry, I'm a big fan of the original game. :)
Tell me about it. The original was so addictive. I can't wait for my PSVita version :D
Rainbow Skies won't be out until late 2014, more than enough time to play Rainbow Moon. :)
Wonderful news!!
I didn't realise you're a fan of Rainbow Moon!
Is there going to be a Vita version?
Looking forward to it guys! Cheers!
It's very well possible since it's running on the same engine. We will have platform confirmations later this year.
Ah! I know when I reviewed Rainbow Moon, I couldn't help but think about how great it would be to have it on Vita. I absolutely love having RPGs on handhelds and I think Rainbow Moon 2 would do very well on Vita. :)
Yeah, sure I am! I wrote a pretty positive review of it for VGW :D
I'm going to go read it now!
