The second game in SNK/Playmore’s classic Metal Slug series is now on mobile platforms for all your (virtual) button mashing needs.
Oddly enough, the first and third games in the set are already available. SNK/Playmore just kind of skipped over poor Metal Slug 2 for a while there though. Thankfully, the publisher came to its senses and the game has finally made its way to Apple and Android devices.
If you’re familiar with the Metal Slug games, then you know what to expect here- non-stop, run and gun 2D action. SNK/Playmore also promises customizable controls, Bluetooth multiplayer, and leaderboards- all wrapped up in (of course) an arcade perfect port of the game.
2 female recruits, Eri, a former super agent, and, Fio, the only daughter of a famous military family, join Regular Army’s PF Squad Marco and Tarma, in order to put an end to Gen. Morden’s dastardly plans. The METAL SLUG arsenal expands with the introduction of new slug vehicles such as the “Slugnoid” (a bipedal tank), “Slug Flyer” (a fighter plane), and the “Camel Slug”, a camel equipped with a Vulcan Cannon!!
