The 24 Games of Christmas! Day #13: Horn

1 min read

It’s that time again! Michael Buble’s smooth voice serenades us over the radio with his brilliant rendition of “Let it Snow.” Houses are covered with bright lights, tinsel, green and red colours. Children anxiously count down the days, hoping they were good enough for a visit by Santa.

It’s a magical time, with one other little benefit – most of us also have breaks over Christmas. Breaks means time to play games!

It has been a great year for games, and no doubt there are some great ones that you’ve missed. And so we at Digitally Downloaded will count down to Christmas with one game recommendation for you each day.

Enjoy, and happy holidays!

Day #13 – Horn
Matt S

Horn is the most beautiful game on the iPad. The art style is so full of whimsy and a sense of adventure that it feels almost like a Studio Ghibli anime as you wander the world, battling enemies that are very much like those from a movie such as Laputa.
That makes it the perfect Chrismas experience. It’s a chance to lose yourself in a game world for a couple of hours without outside distractions weighing you down, after all.
It’s over very quickly, but who really cares about that when you’ve got so many other great games to wade through anyway? Horn is the perfect Christmas stocking filler, then… well, virtual stocking filler anyway.
