Are you itching for new tracks to play in the recently released Rock Band Blitz? If so, you’re in luck. Harmonix is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the rhythmic franchise with a mega sale. No fewer than 1,100 downloadable tracks will be available with the majority weighing in at half the regular cost. This includes full albums and single tracks alike.

Potential artist highlights (should you be so musically inclined) include Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Rush, Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix, Blink-182, and David Bowie.

The sale kicks off today and spans the Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3 consoles. For a more expansive breakdown of the discounted tracks along with pricing information, see the PDF file over at the official Rock Band website.
