Video Review: Way of the Samurai 4

The latest in a series of very Japanese games, Way of the Samurai 4 is an open world game with some very strange things happening within its city walls. It’s not necessarily a game that you would pick over an Assassin’s Creed or Grand Theft Auto game, but it’s fun nonetheless.

So what did I think of this PSN-only downloadable title? Well, mixed feelings, really. On the one hand I greatly enjoyed the setting and narrative style, and Samurai sword duals are always entertaining.

On the other hand there are moments that really creeped me out. And I played through Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 without batting an eyelid.

So… enjoy the video! If you like niche Japanese games, this one will likely entertain you.
