Tecmo Koei posted a few more screenshots from the upcoming Dead or Alive 5 by Team Ninja. The theme of these particular screens? Showing off some of the alternate costumes you can use for your characters. Dead or Alive 5 is set to release in late September for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The combat in Dead or Alive 5 has always been my main draw to the series. That being said, the developers obviously know that there are different things that draw different people to this series, and this is a good example of that. Myself, I have never been much of one for alternate costumes – I would rather have new DLC characters than outfits. You can get access to these by purchasing the Collector’s Edition as well.
You've got to respect Tecmo Koei's dedication to keeping the Dead or Alive series true to its roots.
