Nintendo launches Nintendo Zone in Europe; updates firmware on 3DS

Nintendo has launched a new marketing service in Europe to help gamers keep up to date with their 3DS goings on.
The Nintendo Zone, which has been available in other regions for quite some time, makes use of a network of 25,000 Hotspots across Europe to provide gamers with trailers, screenshots, video clips and even demos.

There’s also a hotspot finder tool that’s been launched: http://hotspot.nintendo.co.uk to help people find their nearest hotspot.

Possibly this news is not as exciting as the 3DS update that has also been released today, which allows gamers to organise their games and applications into folders and sets the 3DS up for DLC and updates. Works well, especially for us ambassadors with around 100 icons on the 3DS home menu.

Good work, Nintendo!
