Sonic CD free with GameStop’s new tablet

It’s no secret that Sonic CD is heading to almost all major download services, but it appears that early adopters of GameStop’s venture into the hardware business will be able to get their hands on it first. According to an image snapped at a GameStop kiosk, Sonic CD will be one of seven free games available with the new tablet.

GameStop’s Android-based gaming tablet goes on sale this weekend, meaning Sonic CD will either see timed exclusivity (download-wise, of course) or it will be making its way to other platforms very soon. Sega did not announce any firm date for the game, so it’s all speculation at this point.

Some of the other pack-in games include Dead Space and Madden NFL, so the device may be worth looking into.
