A new take on the venerable card game, Magic: The Gathering fuses the collectable card game with a tactics-style grid game. Nominally free to play, Magic: The Gathering will allow players to buy “booster” cards to flesh out their fantasy army. In true Magic: The Gathering style, that will no doubt have some people collecting like crazy.
The game looks really good (see the screenshots below), and might just be the reinvention of the game to get people interesting in the card game all over again.
